Bravo! Bravo! Thats the way to not be pushed around by a Pres. with some of the lowest approval ratings in history and a GOP minority in Congress.

Believe or not, neither Mark or Blanche voted for him. I called both their offices and thanked them. Don't shoot all Dems just because 3 think Mukasey is better than the temporary goon W has in there now.
The progressive Dem response to this despicable situation has been to immediately present legislation that closes the "torture loophole" - makes the DOD manual restrictions on torture apply across the board to all government entities. Of course W will veto it (or write an unconstitutional "signing statement" that says he doesn't have to obey it), but again, we've got guys out there pushing against the regime.
