I had forgotten how truly weird and irrational religions can be. In addition to the requirement to wear "blessed" undergarments" they must believe this

I read the Book of Mormon once. Fortunately, I've forgotten most of it. I know a few ex-mormons - mostly they've become aetheists, but one is now a devout Episcopalian. The Ms have the best geneological research tools out there, but if you use them, they posthumously baptise all your deceased relatives into the M religion. A non-M friend of mine found that one out the hard way. She was royally P.O.d until I reminded her that her aetheist father would have thought it funny.
