Palin, as mayor, hired a lobbyist for their tiny town to bring in the big government money. And it did. And Palin loved it.

And she was FOR the bridge to nowhere--until it became a national joke. Then she just took the 235 million and did NOT build the bridge. But she kept the money.

When she left as mayor of the tiny burg of Wasilla, it was $20 million dollars in debt. Lobbying, wasteful with government money, lying, governing with incompetence, and ballooning the debt. Yes, she is a typical Republican.

Look, if we start a new thread every time another nugget of scandal or hypocrisy is exposed about Palin, we'll have 30 threads going in a day or two. Could we put all these together under the "Palin Roast" thread? Just thinking that might be more efficient.

I think that ending up with 30 threads with very little overlap speaks volumes. Perhaps someone could "maintain" the Palin Roast thread by adding synopses and links so we have a summary thread?

That's what I was hoping too. I knew there would be a whole pile of Palin roast to mine in the near future. For instance, I already posted the chart Doug gives above, in that thread. No biggie.
