Dawkins can go a little overboard on the anti-religious fervor at times. However, I think that's because he -- as a world-renowned authority on evolution -- sees religion as the only reason people could possibly doubt evolution.. and he's right. More than 99.9% of scientists with advanced degrees in relevant fields (i.e. people who actually know what evolution is) accept evolutionary explanations. Those who don't (including our local PhD anti-evolutionist) don't make biological arguments against it, only silly logical or mathematical ones.
