Richard Dawkins will be at the university of Kansas to start his US book tour to promote his new book "The God Delusion".
He will be there on Monday the 16th of October. I am planning to go and wanted to know if anyone else wanted to. I will drive and can take 3 with me. Let me know if you want to go.

Also, that Dawkins is first going to Kansas of all states to promote evolution and oppose religious insanity is just poetic justice, right?

Looking at the list here, I'm really tempted to make several trips to KU...

Ok - Looks like I will be going twice. Sept 26th to see Judge John E. Jones III (kitzmiller v. dover et al) and Oct 16th to see Dawkins. I am ok with making each trip an over nite - if anyone else would like this. Does anyone have any contacts near KU?

When I saw Judge Jones they video taped the whole speech. I will call the Hall Center and ask if they are taping Dawkins. If so I'll ask for a copy. They may or may not want some $'s for it.

I called the Hall center - the video of each speech is not for sale. it is a free download from their website. http://www.hallcenter.ku.edu/video/index.shtml
they told me they will put them all there and you need real player to view.
