Reggie Findlay, the Internet Infidel, has redone his Internet "radio" show to include a wider range of topics besides religion.
The new show is called, "The Debate Hour" and it can be found at
thedebatehour.com.
Since on this forum we have been discussing vegetarian diet, I thought it might be of interest to some here that his show this Friday, Dec. 22nd, at 8PM ET will be "Veganism or Omnivorism: Which Makes More Sense?"
This program will be live and should have a distribution of about 30,000.
He plans on discussing the nutritional and moral issues related to what
we eat. If anyone is interested in taking on the Vegan guest, he is is Richard Spencer.
Note: At that time we are having our Freethinker dinner. If you don't go to the dinner, and you hear this show, let us know how it went.

I was at my grandson's birthday party. Did anyone listen? (Some vegan's are in the same category as fundies, so Findlay may not have widened his show as much as one would think.) I hope they really did go into nutrition on this topic. A vegetarian, even vegan, can be healthy, but it takes a whole lot more planning ahead to get all the nutritional pieces that come in a single meat package and not everyone is interested in that much work. (Of course, considering the popularity of pre-planned, pre-cooked meals in today's supermarket the argument could be - and has been - made that very few people are interested in the work of dealing with a healthy diet whether or not it contains meat.)
