Bush Has Lyme Disease

Post by Doug »

WASHINGTON — President Bush was treated for Lyme disease last August, the White House announced Wednesday after failing to disclose the problem for nearly a year.

The treatment was revealed only when the White House made public all the results of Bush's annual physical exam on Wednesday. It showed up in the "past medical history" section and in the summary along with other skin conditions.

Bush was treated for what his doctors described as "early, localized Lyme disease" after developing the characteristic bullseye rash.

Lyme disease is a tick-borne infection that, if left untreated, can cause arthritis and other problems. Symptoms can include lethargy, joint pain, fever, limping and loss of appetite. A bacterial disease, it can be eradicated with antibiotic treatment in the early stages, but can become more complicated to treat if not caught early.

White House spokesman Scott Stanzel said Bush's treatment was not disclosed earlier because it happened after his last physical, on Aug. 1, 2006. He said doctors decided not to perform blood tests for Lyme disease because the treatment worked for the one area where the president experienced a rash, and he never progressed to other symptoms or saw a recurrence.

"It was a rash," Stanzel said. "It's not uncommon for the president to have tick bites when he's out biking."

Ut oh. That's how the terrorists will attack. Planting infected ticks all around the nation. I should have guessed it. Once the hysteria begins people won't go to parks and paths anymore. They will stick by their TVs and get more brainwashing. What a scheme! Bring out the DDT. Let's fight them now before they spread.

If he wasn't such a good christian, I'd suggest a few other things that can cause rashes and are readily treatable by antibiotics in the early stages. As it is, I think he's way too interested in video games for sex to cross his mind. To get the twins Laura must have snogged him while he was sleeping.

Well, barb maybe it's because having sex with Bush is dangerous:

"In the western world, only one newspaper reports the suicide of the woman who accused George W Bush of rape"

by Simon Aronowitz

Saturday 13th December 2003

Despite the enormity of the story, a virtual news blackout has remained in place since Margie Schoedinger first filed charges against George W Bush in 2002. Schoedinger had accused Bush of rape and other sexual crimes against both her and her husband, only one publication in the USA saw fit to print anything about her or her allegations. That publication was her local newspaper.

Her subsequent suicide earlier this year raised many eyebrows amongst those who learned of her death via the internet. Even though the sequence of events was bizarre, again the American media ignored Schoedinger completely.
