Well, I've almost recovered from my grief from Elliott getting kicked off - although he sure handled it with grace and style, didn't he? and I'm sure he'll go far with his career - maybe it's better that he isn't tied to the American Idol pop machine anyway -

I predict Taylor will blow Kathryn out of the water and win the whole thing, which I think is really kind of weird but that's the way it is -

Elliot most certainly did handle it beautifully. He definately seems like the nicest guy, doesn't he? I couldn't believe how close the vote was! It really could have been anyone that was sent home.

The show is on right now but I'm taping it so I can watch it later without commercials. Also Darrel had to run out and he (though not as hooked as me) wanted to see the final competition too.

I'm guessing it will be Kat, but I really think it is anyone's guess. Taylor is weird, but in some way I think that just lends to his appeal. Katherine seems more vocally talented, but she also reminds me of Kelly Clarkson, which could hurt her since Taylor would be a completely new kind of idol. Geesh, now it sounds like I'm leaning towards Taylor. Hmmm....No, I think I'll stick with Katherine as my final prediction.

Did you notice that the results show is 2 hours?! They're really going to try to make us sweat it out. I wonder how on earth they will fill up all that time? I guess I'll find out, because you know I'll be watching.

I actually didn't watch it Tuesday night, but the results show Wednesday was GREAT!!!!!! (And my Elliott stole the whole show with "House is Not a Home") And Taylor won, whoopdie-do.

You didn't miss much with the Tuesday show. The results show was MUCH better. Taylor is a kind of ho hum idol to be sure. Tonight I started watching So you think you can dance....just when I thought I could finally be free of the TV they had to go and start another competition! I watched the end of last season's dance and liked it even better than idol.

Taylor Hicks is in Fayetteville today for the Wal-Mart Shareholders meeting! He's one of the featured entertainers, along with Beyonce.
