Most think Bush is failing second term
The release also shows past results. In some categories, Bush is gaining support. I find this quite disheartening.
The article gives a good summary of the results. I have, however, copied a few questions and their response distributions. The actual release presents much more information about the areas in which people think Bush has succeeded and failed and is worth a good look here (.pdf).A majority of Americans are more likely to vote for a candidate in November's congressional elections who opposes President Bush, and 58 percent consider his second term a failure so far, according to a poll released Thursday.
Fewer people consider Bush to be honest and trustworthy now than did a year ago, and 53 percent said they believe his administration deliberately misled the public about Iraq's purported weapons program before the U.S. invasion in 2003, the CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll found.
Note that many of the results are within the margin of error of being evenly split. In general, are you satisfied or dissatisfied with the way things are going in the United States at this time?
