"World Prayers Workshop"

World Prayers Workshop
Thursday, Nov. 30 at 6:30 pm,
Fayetteville Public Library, Walker Community Room
Adults and teens will create art pieces by selecting and embellishing a prayer. An assortment of prayers from various religious traditions will be available. The finished pieces will be displayed in the library before being returned to the creator. The World Prayers Workshop is part of the Difficult Dialogues series, a partnership between the library and University of Arkansas that is intended to foster tolerance about various religions. The Difficult Dialogues program is hoping to get people of various religions to "act nice and be friends" - maybe I'm just depressed at the moment (which I am), but - fat chance.
